The Application & Enrolment Process

Please note that you must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident to apply. If you hold a work permit, please consult the admissions team

Step 1: Apply Online

Click here to create an account and start your application. You’ll be able to save it and return to editing at a later date before submitting your application.

You will need:

  • High School Transcript or GED Equivalent

  • Resume (Save this as a PDF)

  • A scanned copy of your valid ID card

  • Scanned copy of your valid Permanent Residence card, if applicable

If English is not your primary language, we highly suggest you reach the benchmark of CLB 7 and above to be successful in our program. You can complete the Duolingo English Test for self-test purposes. The Duolingo English Test is an online English proficiency test that can be taken on-demand, in under an hour for only $49. The test is taken via a computer with a camera and includes a proficiency score, video interview, and writing sample. Certified results are available within 48 hours of the test session. A score of 95 in Duolingual equals CLB 7.

Step 2: Attend an Admissions Meeting

Once your application has been submitted, you’ll receive an email with a link to book a 15-minute admissions meeting with our Admissions Coordinator. This will be a virtual call where you’ll have a chance to get clarification on any questions you have and discuss your funding options.

Once you’ve attended the Admissions Meeting, you will receive instructions to move on to Enrolment.

Step 3: Complete Online Enrolment

To complete Online Enrolment, you’ll need the following documents:

We suggest that you do the following before applying:

  1. Understand your funding sources. Click here to learn more about the different options that may be available to you.

  2. To determine financial feasibility for your own understanding, we suggest you complete a budget. Click here to access a fillable budget.

  3. Applications for Canada and Manitoba student loans are available in June of each year. You may contact the Associate Director (brie@wellingtoncollege.com) for more information regarding financing or funding options. Tuition financing must be in place prior to the start of classes.

 

Do you know that you can study some courses even before the school year starts?

Yes, we have made it available for students who are keen on the program to start early as soon as they submit the enrollment packet! This is a self-directed study process and students will get access to all the abundant course resources from our learning system (LMS365). We have made the resources 24/7 available. Whenever it works for you, it works for us! In the LMS, there are the following types of resources:

  • Course Manual

  • Learning Modules

  • Class recordings

  • Unit Quizzes

  • And more…
