Welcome to Wellington College’s quarterly publication. The College’s mission is to cultivate professional individuals skilled in therapeutic massage and its supporting modalities, while fostering a supportive and progressive environment. To ensure this mission continues long after graduation, the Wellington Journal was created to impart tools to allow current and future therapists to provide more effective treatment plans for their clients, and to educate other health care providers, insurance companies, and the general population, as to the role of massage therapy as a comprehensive rehabilitative therapy.
We have incorporated in-depth feature articles, academic reviews, and case studies, as well as individual profiles featuring the Alumni and Staff. The purpose is to work towards establishing a manual therapy journal which will provide our Readers with evidence-based information about the Complimentary and Alternative field, specifically massage therapy; creating an avenue to expand Wellington College’s personal mission.
