To teach a standard level of care, attention and evaluation to the general population when confronted with an emergency or no-urgent medical situation.

- Prevention - lifestyle, hygiene, nutrition and fitness.
- Legal liability for the Athletic First Aider
- Immediate care of common injuries and those specific to athletics
- Gross anatomy and Physiology of healing
- Mechanism of injury and injury identification
- Hands on supportive taping procedures
- Review of medical kit supplies
- Practical skills - wound care, bandage/splinting, taping
About the Instructor (TO BE ANNOUNCED)
All of our instructors are Certified Athletic Therapists with years of experience in injury evaluation, first aid and cpr, wound care and management of injury scene. All CAT(c)'s have an extensive University or College education, years of practical application, and have passed a 3-stage National Exam.
