What You Need to Know About Studying As a Parent

Everyone has anxieties about enrolling for post-secondary school, and our students are no exception. Here’s a message from our Associate director, Brie Timings, on starting study when you’ve also got a family.

Parenting is hard.

I'm a mother of three and I will be the first to tell you that parenting is hard. Here's a picture of my beautiful family.

FYI my husband had a vasectomy on the morning of this photo shoot. Can you tell he's wincing through that smile? And you know why he had a vasectomy? BECAUSE PARENTING IS HARD!

So am I here to tell you that studying while being a parent is a breeze? NO!

I am here to tell you that studying while being a parent IS POSSIBLE.

But don't take my word for it. Watch this awesome video I put together from the perspective of one of our actual students, who was enrolled in the Full Time program.

If you want to achieve your dreams of helping those around you, you have to fight for it.

I believe in you and know that while school won't be easy, you will succeed.
